Situated at the end of Wilson’s Lane this house has a structural wood beam steed system that is them covered with lath and plaster.

This house opposite cafe has weatherboarding on the front and has a slate roof. It also has window shutters.

The thatched cottage has a modern extension with a tiled roof. It is plastered to match the original is around three hundred years old.

Marks Tey Church, as seen here, is quite old and the brickwork at the lower part of the tower shows that several generations have built on top of each other.
