Description

An account by a descendant of the Bunting family saying that Eric Bunting set up a nursery in Marks Tey, growing plants under glass. In 1920 he sold tomato plants. Herbert and Eric (Arthur Eric) were both sons of Alfred who had a nursery in North Station Road, Colchester. In the 1921 census Eric was living in Lexden but an employer at The Nurseries in Marks Tey, describing himself as a florist. Eric travelled to his family's nurseries on a motorbike.
