Description

An account of the building which is now 133 Coggeshall Road. It dates from the 17th century or earlier. The first records refer to it as Goodmans, not Godmans. By 1881 it was occupied by Arthur Wilson, corn and seed dealer and farmer, who gave his name to Wilsons Lane which joined Coggeshall Road next to the farmhouse.
