Description

A letter dated 19 October 1998 explaining the changes ahead for the parish of St James the Less, Little Tey.

The Dedham and Tey Deanery seven year plan proposed that Little Tey and Marks Tey should become a united parish. Following a Little Tey PCC meeting with the Rural Dean, Gerald Moate, it was decided that the future of Little Tey lay with Great Tey. The view of Rev'd John Richardson was positive. The letter explains how the situation would progress although nothing could happen during an interregnum.

Sent by Reader, Noel King and Churchwardens, Carolyn Richer and Heather Barton.
