Description

Village Events. On 19 December 1999 the candlelit service of Nine Lessons and Carols was held in the church. Thids was followed by a Midnight Communion Service on Christmas Eve and a Family Service on Christmas Day. Then there was the erecting and testing of the Beacon on 27 and 29 December so that would not be an embarrassing failure on Millennium Eve.
