Since the photo c1900 was taken the first Prince of Wales pub has been extended on the right and along the front. The sign here says the licensee is Wm R Johnson. There is a gathering of men and boys at the front by London Road. The tree looks like the one planted to mark the coronation in 1911 so the date of the photo must be after that.
