Two columns from what appears to be the Essex County Standard published around the same time but maybe not in the same issue. They contain a transcription of the will of Thomas Tey made ‘on Eve of the Reformation’, which was proved in 1534. He was buried either at St John’s Abbey in Colchester or in Marks Tey church where his Tey ancestors were buried.
