‘Annals of agriculture, and other useful arts’ were collected and published by Arthur Young. This document has extracts obtained by Andrew Waters relating to the area around Marks Tey in the late 18th century. Many of the references are to Mr Ambrose of Copford. A Mr Vancouver contributed to the publication which explains the term ‘Vancouver Tables’.
